We had one of these for three years, which kept cutting out, you had to turn it off for 20 minutes or more before it would work again. We kept all the filters clean and it's now given up the ghost. The filter at the back was very hot after a a few minutes and the dust bowl was very small capacity. We have a dog who doesn't moult much but had to empty the container twice whilst doing our 3 bed semi. Also the fur/dust would collect in the top half of the container and you had to try and pull it down. I wouldn't recommend it, nice colour but that's about it.

i bought this vacuum cleaner 4 years ago and im just about to buy another one, i usually go through them a lot quicker than this, but this one has stood the test of time.....i would highly recommend this to anyone.
love it!!

This machine is so powerful!! It sucks all the dirt out of the carpet I had to empty the dust container 3 times after I had just vacuumed it with my old dyson dc04. The carpet felt nicer to walk on as well. The Lift-off feature is so handy for doing stairs and other hard to reach places.

Would highly recommend!!! Well done Bissell!!!!!!!

This is a great vac with powerful suction and a selection of useful tools. The removal cylinder is genius although it's pretty heavy and gives off a serious amount of heat, not great in summer but then again we don't get them anymore so go out and buy one. At this price it's a steal
Too heavy to lift, can't wait to replace it!

I've had this cleaner for less than a year, but it drives me crazy! I changed from a cylinder cleaner to an upright because we had new carpets fitted and I thought that the rotating brush of an upright would get them cleaner than the head of a cylinder vac. The machine looks great and has good suction but I find that although the lift out part is not so heavy, the whole thing still needs to be lifted upstairs (we have a lot of stairs) and it is incredibly heavy. The other things I don't like about this product are the small size of the dust collection unit, the lack of ease of cleaning the filters, the tremendous noise and heat that it gives out and the lack of length of the hose and the plastic tubes, plus there is nowhere on board the machine to store the small cleaning head, which is the one I would use for the stairs. Also, the power is not variable. The height of the main cleaning head can be adjusted for different floor surfaces, but if you want to clean curtains or upholstery with the attachments, there's no way of reducing the suction. On the whole I'm very disappointed and frustrated with it!
