 Dust collection capacity too small, hose awkward to use |

The dust collection capacity was very small, and filled up in no time. It was described on Amazon web site as 3 litres, but the specification in the user manual says 2 litres.
The hose was difficult to detach and use, it needs to be hooked on to the bottom of the cleaner to avoid tipping over. This is fiddly to do, and shortens the usable hose length.
I would not recommend this vacuum cleaner to anyone.

bought after reading good reviews. do not buy this vacuum!!
1) the hose is so short long enough to clean to a height of about 3 stairs after that you need to balance the hoover on the stair with you as you clean.
2) no easy way to empty, have to unlatch the clip at the bottom and then get out of the way quick!
3) tool tidy is on the back of the handle so everytime you lower to start to use, they fall out on your foot oowwww! so annoying.
apart from that it does pick up ok. |

Good but could do with a longer cable

All in all, this is a good product - I've had it a few months now and it's still workig really well. However, the cable is much shorter than the dyson I used to have and it does need emptying quite often. Having said this, the emptying process is very easy - as long as you have a binbag/dustbin ready there's no spillage, it unclips easily and you don't have to bend down and fiddle around.
Other good points are the light, which lets you see into dark corners and the fact that there's a pedal you can press when you're finished, so that the cable is sucked in and wound up inside the machine. No more manually winding the cable around pegs or clips, which is what I was used to before.
On the down side, the telescopic tube is definitely too short to reach the top of my flight of stairs (I like to park the vacuum at the bottom and reach up to do each step by hand). I have a flight of 14 steps though, and I would guess that anything less than 10 and you probably won't find this an issue.
On the whole, it's a good buy for the money - but if you have a house with very large rooms and/or a lot of stairs you may want something with more reach.

| I bought this vacuum about 3 months ago after doing a lot of research. I am so pleased with it. It vacuums really well and the waste cylinder is really easy to pop on an off. The cord rewind is super and very tidy. It was a bit fiddly putting it together as it arrives in a few pieces in the box but that would be my only criticism. I really wanted one as good as a Dyson but with less noise and a different design to the features, like the nozzle, and I think and this is perfect. Looks nice too and is solid, good quality. Doesn't feel cheap and plasic like some. It's easy to lift and not too heavy, lifting handle positioned in the right place to lift the vacuum easily. The nozzle is easy to pop on and off and extends. The nozzle is the long bit on the front. On and off switch in a good place. I would recommend this vacuum, it's very good value. |
